She has international experience conducting seminars e.g., in Greece, Austria, Germany, Burkina Faso/Africa. Her expertise lies in Mythological-Archetypical Constellations, addressing social-environmental issues and participant concerns.

Co-Hosted by:

Despina Papaioannou

Despina has also trained alongside Ada with Dr. Dimitris Stavropoulos as a professional facilitator, in family constellations and his Greek School of thought.

She is also a trained Art Therapist and Life Coach practicing in the area of Delphi where she lives.

Curriculum Covered

Ada Vlachoutsikou will conduct the seminar and convey Senior Dr. Dimitris Stavropoulos findings. Together we’ll study the meaning of oracles and their role in trauma therapy and inner healing. We will explore the connection between sacred site practices, history, and reconciliation processes for peace: peace with ourselves, peace within families and peace in society. We will also bridge ancient practices to modern times and family constellation techniques.

Participants will experience Delphi’s site with a unique tour where various locations will be explored through the lens of the systemic constellation method.

During the seminar, we will conduct constellations using oracles, learning how they can aid in the personal decoding of sayings, dreams, and other symbolic experiences. We will also explore how to use oracles within constellation work to address personal issues. We will particularly focus on Delphi’s oracles which will enlighten our understanding of the reconciliation dynamic. The family reconciliation method sort of works for itself… putting reconciliation practices into daily life commands a deeper conviction. Dr. Dimitris concept of “Trosas kai iasete” will lead us right to the core of the practice of peace.

Course Activities

A detailed weekend schedule will be provided after course registration. To give you an overview:

Participants may arrive on Thursday. For those wishing to explore the area or arrive earlier, rooms will be available at the Saphiro accommodation from Wednesday onwards. Extra nights must be paid directly to the accommodation.

Thursday arrivals will be either independently or via a minibus from the airport. The course begins at 4:00 PM with an introductory circle for both online and in-person participants. The seminar’s subject matter and themes, focusing on Delphi as the navel of the world, will be introduced. We use the  resonance method, so a constellation may evolve.

One can only trust that whatever happens during this seminar will occur in such a way that it opens opportunities for growth, depth, and life changing realizations.

The following day’s schedule and sightseeing group formations will then be discussed.

For the remainder of the seminar, we will visit the Delphi site and hold sessions in the seminar room, where we will conduct family constellations. Mythical constellations, guided by resonance, will address the curriculum. While the subject matter is substantial, time and space will be available for physical activity.

Complementing Practices as gentle pathways to deepen embodiment and inner harmony include: Art Therapy • Somatic Practices • Breathwork • Swimming • Grounding

Participants can engage in walks and utilize the schoolyard or lodgings for somatic practices. Regardless, time and space will be provided for participants to spend time outside the seminar room and the ancient site.

Delphi attracts millions of visitors annually and thousands lodge in the surrounding area. Consequently, the region near the ancient site has become a bustling tourist destination, crowded, with narrow, steep roads. However, we will experience Delphi in a unique way, exploring a part of Greece that retains a charm reminiscent of the previous century.

Interestingly, just an 11-minute drive from the ancient site lies a village that has remained of the beaten path. It is designated as a Greek cultural heritage site. The village features stone-paved roads and houses with traditional Greek color palettes: natural hues of green, beige, red, and blue. The architecture is traditional and diverse, spanning various historical periods. You’ll encounter everything from earth brick houses to stone dwellings constructed with local materials, and even see ancient Greek remnants integrated into newer walls, among other unexpected sights during our walks.

Village  life seems to have paused, offering a glimpse into a Greece untouched by globalization. The locals are hospitable, sharing delicious homemade meals, and the church bells chime on the hour. Every resident politely offers directions. Numerous paths lead to rural and natural environments, showcasing past agricultural practices. These ancient trails, walked on for millennia, connect to the sea and the Delphi ancient site, traversing forest areas and more.

Participants will have the chance to experience a beautiful Greek setting and immerse themselves in breathtaking natural scenery, while enjoying historical views.

Accomodation

We will be staying at a small lodging owned by Saphiro. Saphiro, originally from Delphi, was brought to Chrisso by her husband, who fell in love with her and eloped with her when she was just 17. With her beauty, grace, spirit, and intelligence, she built the family pension, which she now runs and offers to us. Staying there, we will experience authentic Greek family life and hospitality. When planning this course, we chose this lodging to provide a simple, clean, and comfortable experience, rather than a modern, luxurious one. Rooms include a fridge and private bathroom, although some bathrooms are shared between two rooms. The pension is not equipped with air conditioning, but the climate in Chrisso is pleasant. The mattresses are new, but traditional Greek, meaning they are firmer than many modern mattresses. If you have specific mattress concerns, please let us know, and we will explore possible solutions.

Seminar Space

There are many benefits to conducting the constellations in our cosy lodging such as the time saved and the familiarity with the space. There is a balcony with a panoramic view and outside spaces so it feels open and one can hear birdsong and let fresh air inside. However it is because of the size of this space that participatants will be limited to 24.

The buffet will be located nearby, providing easy access for refreshments. Smokers are free to step outside and phonecalls are allowed as they are considered part of the process.

Last but not least... Meals

The lodging package includes two meals per day: a late breakfast, typical of Greek custom and scheduled according to the course, and a late lunch/dinner.

Breakfast is served at the lodging where we are staying.

In the seminar room, coffee, water, and a variety of Greek herbal teas, collected from the wild, will be available. Minimal snacks will also be provided at the seminar buffet.

For our lunch/dinner meals, we will eat at Poppy’s, another remarkable village resident. She is a shepherd’s daughter, and all her kitchen creations are homemade, representing traditional Southern mainland Greek cuisine. You will have the opportunity to experience flavors that are disappearing as modernization and tourism erode the rich diversity of Greek traditional cooking.

Our seminars adhere to a vegetarian principle, and we minimize the use of refined sugars. Therefore, there will be very few sugary items offered at the buffet, breakfast, or dinner. Meat and fish will not be served as part of the standard meals. However, those who wish to have fish or meat as their main course can order it from Poppy for an additional charge. She prepares excellent meat dishes, particularly goat and sheep from the local area, which are exceptionally flavorful. She can also prepare grilled steaks and similar dishes. The kitchen and the food will be another highlight of this seminar.

Testimonials

The family constellation workshop with Anda was amazing! So many things from my life appeared to me and the realisations where healing and rewarding. Would definitely have sessions with Anda in the future. Highly recommended.

Neofytos

Ada, is working so gentle but powerful with family constellations. The mythical constellations is a beautiful Healing method that unveiled so many deep parts in me and I think in all the participants. Ada is very respectful of the method, and very careful and humble of her role as facilitator, even if she has many years of experience. She has helped me a lot in my Healing journey.
